Stage Technician (Traveling – Midwest Region) / Part-Time Position

Summary:
We’re looking for a reliable, mechanically minded Stage Tech to join our production crew. This role is all about boots on the ground (and sometimes wheels on the highway). You’ll assist with the setup and tear-down of mobile stages, including the EuroStage 3322, for concerts, festivals, and live events throughout the Fargo-Moorhead region and across the Midwest. If you’re handy, don’t mind a little travel, and can haul a stage like a boss, we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Do:

  • Tow and transport mobile stages (must be comfortable driving with a trailer)
  • Safely set up and strike the EuroStage 3322 and other mobile stages
  • Assist with loading/unloading gear, basic site prep, and stage maintenance
  • Troubleshoot minor mechanical or structural issues on-site
  • Work with the production team to ensure safety, efficiency, and event setup
  • Travel for gigs ranging from local one-offs to multi-day out-of-town events
  • Represent our team professionally with clients, venues, and the public

What You’ll Need:

  • Valid driver’s license (CDL not required, but towing experience is a must)
  • Ability to tow and maneuver trailers up to 30’+ in length
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn staging systems
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and multi-day gigs
  • Positive attitude, problem-solving skills, and solid work ethic

Bonus Points If You Have:

  • Experience with mobile stages (EuroStage 3322, Stageline, etc.)
  • Background in live event production, concerts, or festivals
  • DOT medical card or trailer towing certifications
  • Construction, rigging, or general labor experience

Perks:

  • Work with a team that builds live music experiences from the ground up
  • See cool places, meet great people, and be part of unforgettable shows
  • Opportunities for growth into more production roles or lead tech positions
